From your picture, you need to introduce +12v to the black wire onto the igniter and see if the blue is already neg

The ignition feed should be coming from the fuse board from the leisure battery , and you will be able to check there is power on the connection block on the top of the fridge where the mains power is also connected into a connector next to the 12v for the heating element and the ignition supply . The igniter often stops working due to corroded “earth” connections down at the back of the fridge in the burner area . You might be able to access it from the outside by taking the big vent off (If its been installed with the twin caravan vents) Failing that you will need to remove the fridge , but...

Sounds like it’s corroded up , but not all of them push to turn , the push is normally after zero and hold to override the thermo couple . Brass spindle , so good old plus gas squirted round it may do the trick . Depending on the model , most parts are available anyway , either new or second user ……

Yes, you need the DG throttle cable , dont try bodging it , they are nasty when they stick wide open !!!

Just blank it off , it operated the hot/cold feed off the exhaust which is not needed in uk climate , it’s one less thing to worry about

The other vac pipe goes from the base of the carb to the air box , and you can just blank it off on the port on the base of the carb and , as long as its blanked off airtight , forget about it

How about sorting the leak first ? Actually get under it and clean everything off and dry it all so you stand a chance of seeing what is the issue . Fill it up with water (not coolant) and watch where its coming from , before going down it doom and gloom route . It may well be coming from a hose or ...
