Re: Ring and pinnion for 1.7D
Thanks Aidan that all sounds like good advice. It seems a shame not to get the extra 5mph out of it (upto 65) for fear of over-revving. I'll consider the tyre upgrade.

Ring and pinnion for 1.7D
Has anyone got any experience of adding this replacement to a KY?
https://brickwerks.co.uk/product/ring-a ... 7-5-speed/
I'm looking to push up to a cruise of 65 with less revving (on the flat obviously ).
Is it worth doing/ any downsides?

Re: Diesel Heaters
Thanks for the advice on here. On reflection i think i'm going to go for the autotherm and try and put it under the passenger seat (in a box under the van outside). Hopefully there'll be room.

Re: Diesel Heaters
I've got the same dilemma but looking at a cheap option as can't see what you're paying for with the premium models. Any reason why this wouldn't be fine? https://www.amazon.co.uk/Triclicks-Parking-Control-Display-Motorhomes/dp/B094Y2TJVJ/ref=sr_1_3?crid=12R8KE34BI3N9&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.XAZtdq0Hy4...

Re: Underslung water tank?
Thanks for the advice and links. I'm in Newcastle upon Tyne so it would be a courier for anything off the south coast/ wales. Still worth considering as the Reimo one appears to be Germany only and is pricey.
Can you PM me prices pls?
TIA Dave

Underslung water tank?
Hi - just wondering if anyone has one of these or knows how one could be added? I definitely don't want the kind that goes inside the van under the back seats/ bed but it would be great to think something could be added underneath that i could simply drop the water hose or outlet down into. Or is it...

Glow plugs not working after head gasket replacement
Unfortunately i blew the gasket on my 1.7 diesel ky. I already had a problem with a buzzing dash and oil filter light, but then we lost the lights on the dash (still have the buzzing). Now the head gasket is replaced but the glow plugs won't light up even though they have been confirmed three times ...

Thanks to both of you for the advice. I'll ask my dad to go through these suggestions.

Buzzing dash
Can anyone help me with this problem? Its been a while now - a buzzing noise from the dash and flashing oil light. It used to be intermittent and then became pretty much constant. If you depress the clutch and freewheel the buzzer stops. Its my 1.7 diesel, which had been stood for two or three years...

Re: Rock n Roll bed nightmare
I've realised i don't have this bit so will need to order it. A lot of the info seems to be for the T2 bed whereas i have the actual t25 one. I can't find a picture anywhere if how that's supported. Instructions definitely needed! https://nlavw.com/trade-shop/index.php?id_product=726&rewrite=t25...
