Re: Paint Your Wagon - with a roller!

Not seen this kit personally but do make sure the rollers are gloss rollers, not ordinary ones or you'll be getting a textured finish :rofl No worries, I tried out the rollers on my sliding door panel in the kitchen last weekend. Lots of bubbles as I was a bit too hasty to get the paint on, quick b...

These vans run on unleaded fuel (unless they are diesel :D ), no need to add anything else.

Re: Riviera Heater - instructions

Had one in my Autohomes conversion, trouble is with these units they sit under van so are prone to rusting out. Mine looked good untill I tried to remove it and it fell apart because it had rusted badly. Best check the condition of the unit before you invest any time on it.

Re: Fiamma bike rack anti-theft strap

No, I havn't. I have put on a simple window lock, the type which bolts onto a nut using a square shaped key. You have to bend the key 90 degrees to lock it down. Very cheap and has stayed put for the past 4 years.

Just replaced our curtain with a homemade set. Fabric was from an african dress shop, very funky, very orange, hand printed. £20 for all windows inc higtop ones and tie backs. Result :ok

Re: Hassle getting Tank Back on

the pipe stays attached to the body and you pop the ends into the grommets when the tank is up in place, over the top of the chassis rails I can even get my fat hands in there, judicious use of a pry bar to pop the balance pipe and the filler breather out of the grommets before it comes down :ok So...

Re: Interior furniture boards- delivery

They also do formica sheets in any colour you care to mention, so I would make up me own furniture boards by laminating myself, totally original and totally unique. Also tot...

Re: Hassle getting Tank Back on

A bit of Vaseline helps get the tubes back in. I was fortunate to have the help of my 10yr old son. The pipes only allow fuel vapor to exit the tank at filling so I shouldn't think it matters. I would route as you suggested but allow slack, stick the tubes to the tank with gaffer so the heater tube ...

Just wondering how strong this tape is :?:[/quote] This stuff is strong and holds up to uv, wouldn't use i...
