I am actually looking at the original Autosleeper Manual from our van. Our Trident has what appears to be factory fitted Zig Unit and Leisure Battery setup and the original manual is in the file too. Both work a treat :D It would appear that the main difference is that Trident was hard top and Troop...

for the sake of £4.50 from GSF, try the Fuel Pump Push Rod. I renewed this last week after experiencing the same symptoms. The old one was not as pointed as the one that came out. The Fuel Pump Push Rod can be found under the Fuel pump and is easy accessed by removing the fuel pump and swapping like...

Not familiar with 2.1 unit, but we have a 1.9 DG which had similar symptoms. Having checked the sparks and renewing the dizzy etc, the van ran like a dream on a run, but it continued to cut out when slowing down for roundabouts and traffic lights etc. One bit that might be worth a try is the 'Fuel P...

Front Disc and Pad Replacement/Renewal

Morning all

How much would be regarded 'as fair' for the replacement of the front disks and pads on a G90 1.9DG autosleeper.

No london weighting necessary as am in the not so dry North West England :-D

Steve you are a genius!!

Did as directed and bingo!! Running sweet as a nut!

Replaced petrol, vacuum pipes etc which all seem to help too.

Hope you managed to sort your van out too.... in between helping us lesser mortals out :-)

I owe you a beer!! 8)

cheers Hammy :D Will defo be trying Redex first. Good to hear from you Mocki - you doing BVF? If so, see you there. Will be taking to cautious approach re fuel system. Fair to say that I am more of a keen amateur than a competent expert. Prefer the "measure twice and cut once" approach. Wi...

its an auto choke and does its job well.

Only problem is when she slows down she cuts out.

Will take a look at the carb and put some carb cleaner through it. It might just be some crud. If not, then it the carb strip.

is the carb strip a straight forward job or a P.I.A?
