Cheers for the reply. There's been a slight change in plan as I've picked up a Felicia straight 1.9 diesel with low miles and, as my quest is good mpg and be able to use my WVO. In light of this, I have the complete car so can poach parts off the loom etc. I've also bought the cradles, sumo and oil ...

Could someone point me in the direction of a good thread for this as I'm sure there must be plenty on here, I just can't seem to find them! I have a 1.9 petrol with 5 speed box which I'm looking at converting to a 1.9tdi so just want to have a look at a couple of threads and work out which way to go...

I've just picked up a mk3 Golf today with the 1Y engine in so I can replace the solid, but rather slow 1.6 that's currently fitted to the T25. Before I start, I'm just checking there's nothing special/modified that I need? From reading up, it's a case of a straight swap with the exception of the oil...

I went through this a while ago and the advice I was given by the local plod (traffic officers, not the normal ones) was if it is part of a commercial range of of vehicles, it should have commercial tyres on. I know people go on about ratings and plies etc (which is beyond me) but if the tyre is not...

AFTER A FEW POINTERS REALLY, I HAVE A CREW CAB SYNCRO WITH A KNACKERED 2.1 ENGINE AND HAVE A COMPLETE AUDI A4 MK1 2.6 V6 QUATTRO WITH A PEACH OF AN ENGINE. HAS ANYBODY DONE ONE OR CAN THEY POINT ME IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION?
