Was a bit dubious when I first got mine, I'd only ever had V8's with auto before. The Brick's never gonna be a racer so you might as well just sit back n relax, armrest's down, tunes on ... tomorrow will do ! Less strain on motor in D too, just let it change when it wants. MPG similar too manual box...

cheers, yeah the foil bubblewrap seems to be the gear, just wondered whether there was anything else I could do whilst the panels were off, anyone else have any views ?

Have just insulated the interior with Thermawrap, have we reached a verdict on whether to have an air gap or not, was thinking of filling some of the void with bubblewrap ? good or bad idea ...
