Re: Where to mount an eber in an Aircooled
I have a 2.0 CU Aircooled Autohomes camper that had a Remotron gas-powered heater in the massive space behind the 'radiator' grille. So when I yanked that heater out, that's where I mounted the Chinese knock-off Eberspacher diesel heater. I have mounted a small (2.5l) fuel tank behind the grille al...

Re: Chinese diesel heater
I've finished installing one of these today on my 1981 air-cooled camper. It had a 'Remotron' unit (seems to be made by Volvo way back when) installed in the space behind the radiator grille, with a feed from the gas via a manifold under the sink. This didn't not want to work, is well rusty, and is ...

Here's mine, the 3rd one owned over the years and I'll post pics of the old ones. http://i1295.photobucket.com/albums/b640/robdog_67/Public/5C864DFE-D950-4AE0-9999-B811D2D04500_zps0rt9dr3t.jpg 1981 2.0 air-cooled, Autohomes I think but I believe it originally had a pop-top, looking at the original d...

VR6 into T25?
Hi all I searched this forum for VR6 but no results returned. I wondered if anyone had performed this swap, with what outcome? I have access to two good VR6 engines, and I have a petrol auto 86 Caravelle. I see that KEP supply the appropriate adapters and some other bits and bobs. Any info appreciat...

Re: Lowering Springs
Mine's an '86 Caravelle, definitely no lowering there, you could get your head between the wheel arch and the top of the wheel. Not a good idea though.

Oh no! Another coolant hose requirement
Hi Mine's a 1900cc WBX of B-reg vintage, not sure whether it's a DF or DG engine though A hose joins the right side of the carb [looks like to the auto-choke temp sensor] down to the firewall-side of the inlet manifold. But it does so via 3 bends. Problem is, the carb end is smaller diameter than th...

Carputer thread - less interest than I would have thought?
Hi all - this is my first post so be kind... My T25 is one of my hobbies, the others are either petrol-burning or gadget-based, and where possible, both... I mess about with PCs a fair bit, so putting a PC into my 1985 'Bus' wasserboxer (details below) seemed like natural progression. In many modern...
