Good answer!
I've emailed him to see what it costs.
I might get it, in case I do need it. The issues that I have had with my sliding door, there is every chance I need both the rear latch and the front lock!

Re: Sliding Door 1985 T25
Do you think I need a new lock at the front of the sliding door, in addition to the latch at the back of the door?

ajsimmo - If you think you could fix it - I'd certainly bring my T25 to Arran for you to look at and fix. I could climb some hills while I was there too. Great island

Re: Sliding Door 1985 T25
It's quite taut. It pops out at he back, but the latch is also not catching on the front.
I have the door held closed with a latch and padlock on the inside.
No garage has been able to work out, how to fix it.

Hopefully pic will appear soon, once it has been moderated.

Re: Sliding Door 1985 T25
Or dropped, have you looked at the sliding door mechanism at the rear inside of the door, there are a couple of flat screw head bolts there which may have come loose, I lost one once and that prevented me from closing the door.
