I honestly think it used to be a manual at some point.  The moulding around the gear shift seems like it was cut by hand.  Tenth owner so who knows :)

How long does it take coolant to work it's way into the system?

Hello, I have a diesel auto 85.  Recently, in an effort to fix some overheating, I went to check on my thermostat, and from what I can tell - there isn't one installed.  My guess is the PO just removed it and left it out because it was faulty.  I have one on order, but anyway, on to my point.  Durin...

That thread was definitely an inspiration!  Now I just need to source paint. :)

Source for these plastic clips?

Hi There, I'm looking to find these clips for the lower grill on my '85.  I thought I had found some on heritage parts centre but they ended up being about half the size of what I needed.  Does anyone know where I can get these?  I had also thought to just put nuts behind them, but the clearance in ...

Paint brands to use in the UK/EU?

Greetings folks, I am an American expat, living in Iceland.  Most of the parts I order tend to be from the UK or Germany, and while there is a ton of great information about what brands of paint to DIY paint your car with back on the US forums, I just don't find any of the same things here.  For the...
