Rear heater duct
Evening all, not sure where this topic actually belongs! I have just bought a second hand rear heater vent/duct (one that connects up to the main van heater), and I was under the foolish impression that its a direct fit on a van that didn't have one. Does anyone have pictures of theirs (so I can see...

Re: T25 - no start

I have had moderate success in replacing the carb with a rebuilt on, but still bogged down. i ended up rebuilding my old one, but similar story. after removing it an inspecting it for what feels like the hundredth time, i found th...

T25 - no start
 So my van is sitting ready to go into storage since its mot in Nov, I have been starting it each week and fires up first time...until yesterday Took a long time to start, and when putting my foot down to rev, it bogged down. window seals
Hello all, havent posted on here in a long time. So after bringing my camper out of storage and seeing a fair bit of water in the camper after some rain, decided to replace the seals. all the existing seals are rock hard, and as it turns out has been leaking a long time (the amount of rot i have fo...

Re: 1.9 waterbox cutting out
doh, found the answer after all! if i read a bit further, you position the cam using THE second highest step, but then set the cold start throttle gap with the cam on its highest setting

Re: 1.9 waterbox cutting out
evening all. I have been busy rebuilding a carb i bought of ebay, and fairly learning about how it works (give me the simplicity of an SU carb!) All seems to have gone well, and i have set up as per the youtube video. one question i had was the choke cam (or the step cam on the choke spindle). The ...

Re: 1.9 waterbox cutting out
Hello all, bit of an update. I removed the air filter from the top of the carb, and watched as the throttle was pressed. The choke flap closed, and a saw/heard a squirt of fuel going into the carb. I then blipped the throttle, and the rpm dropped, then the van slowly died (after running a bit roug...

Re: 1.9 waterbox cutting out
thanks for the reply, interesting about the clutch, never realised that would happen. The tickover seems ok, although i dont have a tachometer, so couldnt comment on the actual RPM. One interesting thing i noticed today was that it didnt stall (yay), but when it was still cold, the engine was boggi...
