Ended up drilling out and rebolting 3 screws. On the home stretch now but I’ve got a problem. Connecting everything back up - I’ve got an extra connection block!!! Been trying to replace heater matrix on 1.6d Got dash out ok But screws rusted tight on heater box Already sheared one off Can’t get them out even with WD40/heat etc It’s done my head in. So going to join up hoses and bypass heater. Anyone done this? And recommendations on what pipe to use to link t...

I managed to solve it.

Mounted on dash with a screw fix housing.

Never used it!
I’ve added image (hopefully).

Sorting the heater matrix

Can’t seem to work out how to remove choke(I think) from dash (located lower left of steering wheel)

Any advice most appreciated

Decided to give the diesel one last chance and swap out the heater matrix at weekend.

Yes - just want to try and 'simplify' and remove watercooled ongoing problems...

Would be good to understand if possible and if someone can do this.
