I used a single role of rather expensive £60(ish) space age stuff from the local Focus store. It's made of foil and plastic and wadding and compressed down to 'very thin'. I removed all the Rockwood which was wet were the rot was! That helped then! Here's what the insulation looks like during insula...

I've not got any moss because it's e a s y to clean. Why? Cos mine's missing! I'd dearly love to replace it, anyone got any ideas? High top sealed to van at the moment with white silicone which also holds the top on! All the rear rivits have rusted out at some point, and yes it did leak but no more....

On our 87 Autosleeper the fridge is a tight fit in the kitchen unit but still has screws located in the adjacent cupboards. These screw through the cupboard side panel and into locating holes in the outer skin of the fridge. As in the picture: [img:850:638]http://www.volkswagent25.co.uk/assets/hidde...

starter motor replacement looks a good bet to me. Ours failed last year while we were away - solenoid wires corroded right through. Cost me £90 fitted. Boy what a difference starting was after. First turn of the key I realized just how knackered the old started must have been! Replace it you know it...

I've looked and not touched, yet, for all the reasons the others state. I had a strong petrol smell when the tanks full. I decided to change the rubber coller round the filler pipe as it looked old. That reduced the smell considerably. My next port of call is to replace the hoses to the expansion ta...

you can also find sound info here (several links): https://club8090.co.uk/wiki/Interior_non_camping_alternative_front_seats I used this as a starting point when I did mine. Once I'd got the hight adjusting bits off the drivers seat (watch the springs they're evil) the rest was easy. Whole job took a...

We just rivet holes, no rubber! Plus water damage to the timber side panel on the nearside as well as good bit of surface rust. My solution was to clean out the joint between the high top and the van then use white silicone sealant. It worked and has remained watertight so far. I did however notice ...

petrol gauge dead!
Latest problem... petrol gauge has just failed. Was OK last time I used it, honest. It's got petrol in and I'm now driving based on milage and amount of fuel put in! I'm going to run out I just know it!!! The rest of the gauges work on this side of the dash though the clock failed some time back. Ca...
