Thank you. I did read that, and also it may give me a better view of seeing if it just did ‘pop out’...

Accelerator push rod has popped out
Hi, I unclipped the push rod from the pedal to install some new carpet, but then the push rod came loose and I’ve been able to just pull it into the cab.
How do repair this? Can I just ‘pop’ it back in?
Thanks, 1985 early 1.9 manual water cooled.

Re: Hazard lights and radio not working
There would be a temptation for me to do simple maintenance jobs whilst you are in that area. Such as check and clean the earth crowns and the connections for the coolant temperature / level control unit.. looks like a relay with 42 or 43 on it. These are all on the inner wing of the van above the ...

Thank you buddy, really helpful! Today’s job.Robsey wrote:Please note this update from above post.
From the terminal from Fuse 9 (S9)
There is a red / white wire to the hazard switch pin 30.
At pin 30, it is joined with the red wire for the radio.

Re: Hazard lights and radio not working
So fuse 9 is okay... If there is no feed to the radio or hazard relay, then it must be that a spade connector at the back of the fusebox has come loose from it's terminal. I am assuming red wires to the flasher relay 30 terminal and to the radio connector. Have you been working on the fusebox, to l...

Re: Blue/grey wire near stereo and heater switches - what is it?
I’m new on here and am currently struggling through intermittent connections etc whilst I turn my Caravelle into a camper. Anyhow whilst looking for help, I came across this post. The blue/grey wire you were initially concerned about may be the redundant illumination wire from what would have been ...

Re: Starter motor - what connections are what?
The general rule that I use for connecting up any kind of relay is. That the wires for terminals 86 - control wire, And 85 - earth terminal, Should both be large enough to safely operate the relay. This depends on the power consumption of the relay itself. Terminal 30 - supply wire And Terminal 67 ...
