1.9 wbx reving high when warmed up.
When I start my van after pushing accelerator pedal down once it starts with choke on and the revs slowly decrease over about 5 to 10 mins and sounds lovely. After driving and pulling upto traffic lights or round abouts the revs seem to be quite fast. Can the carb be adjusted to drop the revs when u...

Re: No full throttle after carb rebuild.
No couldn't get full throttle at carb.
Turns out it was the 19mm pump arm, it was a little longer than the 13 mm and was catching the manifold.
Tweaked it a bit and all is good now

No full throttle after carb rebuild.
Having just refurbished my pierburg 2e carb with a kit from brickwerks and also changed the accelerator pump assembly and diaphragm from 13 mm to 19mm I can't seem to get full throttle and get above 40 mph anyone any ideas?
On the plus side I have got rid of the hesitation when pulling away

Re: Pierburg 2e carb accelerator pump
Thanks for your reply.
I have both the 13 m and 19 mm diaphragms from brickworks but the 13mm body arm is bent and twisted on mine and I have a new 19mm body and arm that I have acquired and wanted to see if i could just swap it and put the 19mm diaphragm in it.

Pierburg 2e carb accelerator pump
Is it possible to swap from the small 13mm accelerator pump to the 19mm one as long as you have correct diaphragm?
Or will it cause issues?

Fuel cut off relay
I am going to be fitting a electric fuel pump to my 1.9 wbx and a bit confused about what relay to use. I like the look of the CSP one https://www.csp-shop.com/en/electric/safety-shut-off-relay-for-electric-fuel-pumps-127-025-000r-18015b.html as it says it will switch pump on for 2 secs at igniti...

Dash cluster wiring differences
I have just picked up a what I beleive to be a late dash cluster with a clock on the right hand side. Is it possible to get this to work on an early van? When I connect it up, the temp light comes on with no ignition and fuel guage moves, but when I turn ignition on guage goes back to empty. When I ...
