Re: Interchangeable rear trailing arms!
Pkrboo you were right, there are strengthening piece inside the arms! So after all that I'm gonna repair the damaged bits. At least I've got the good sides I can use as a reference to what shape it should be :) shame about that, I thought it'd be a good solution! Should have it all done by the end o...

Re: Interchangeable rear trailing arms!
Yeh, that's negative camber.. It looked like a boy racer  . The damaged metal and my negative camber problems are from the van being over-lowered by the previous owners, and the bump stops have beaten the arm into a bad shape, I'm sure the bushes are a big part of that too. If I turned the arms...

Re: 1.9 wbx DF engine code timing
You need a timing light to check the timing ideally, it should be very similar process as a DG. Cutting out when it's warm might be because it's running lean when not on choke. You might have to get someone with an exhaust gas analyser to set the idle air/fuel mixture on your carb.

Ride heights and lowering issues.
Hi folks, super excited to join the club! Finally got myself a beautiful green Transporter camper conversion! It's an '84 1.9 WBX, apparently an ex hightop that's been converted to pop top, and she's a little rough around the edges. It's had the original DF changed for a new DG, and it's got a homem...
