There is no petrol smell but will check the wires as you’ve mentioned from the thermostat.

Hi all, I’m sure there will be a post on here with my related problem and would appreciate a pointer in the right direction if so. Had a new 2.1dj engine fitted to my wagon and runs fine other than if on a long run I stop the engine for 5-10 minutes then try to start again no joy! Engine just cranks...
