Re: Cruise control instalation and alternative parts.
The delay on my system is just over a second between pressing and feeling the vacum pump take over.. With virtually no drop in revs... And as for the below 40mph Saftey that's definitely a thing.. My speedo is in km. But I'd say 40mph is correct

Re: Hand brake cable
Just done mine. It's the guide bush that's pressed into a bracket above the tank that's the issues but that's only the front part. Rear part is fully accessible from below. So if replacing front. It's tank out I'm affraid.

Re: A wiper question
You need to clean the contacts on the wiper switch.. Had sp0gv'imilar issue, washers only worked on highest wiper speed and felt like I was going to snap the stalk doing it. They are small sprung contacts and over time no will need a clean.. Once I did that it works in every position wipers on or of...

Re: Ford Mondeo st220 into '88 Caravelle

Re: Fridge removal and recommendations for a replacement
With a solar panel you can easily run for a few days and it will also make ice. Compressor fridges are worlds apart from what you are removing. Nothing comes for free and to expect a 12v fridge to last for weeks on a 90ah battery is a bit naive. But really lithium and solar is the only real way ro g...
