If you van was originaly a TD it has an auxiliary water pump that will run after engine is off much like a cooling fan that still runs after swith off.. That's not a bad idea actually... As silly as it sound I can't bring myself to cut the Vin number. Obviously it makes it more complicated and more joins. But it's a viable option..

As I said earlier I'd rather not be filling diesel through the floor in the (living compartment) water is one thing diesel no thanks.

The back of the seat is further foward than the Vin. So you would still go through Vin area. The back of seat is inline with the. Front of the B pillar.. Unless your suggesting just to have the filler in the floor? And not on the storage area under seat either way I'd prefer to keep the filler outsi...

That would still mean going through the Vin and would also mean. Filling diesel inside the van. Nice idea but not very practical
