Re: Hello (first post) and sliding door lock advice...
Hi, I've not really had chance to look yet. The door can be locked from inside and I've found it a nifty work around using the holes in the top of the sliding door and a cable lock

Re: Stiff hot/cold lever on heater
They do need tracing and sorting... It's fine for now (just want to get out camping!) but I'll just replace them in a few weeks!

Re: Weld or fill?
Thanks for all your help. Fingers crossed
I'll see if I can get the holes welded up proper and treat the rest of the rust in the meantime...

Re: Weld or fill?
https://i.imgur.com/whB2YON.jpg Rest of 'Marmalade' π I'm convinced it's that aerial now... It's a bit of a bodge like the rest of the van. Checking under the dash.... There's no wet from above this point. The bulkhead below this is wet. Plugging it up stops the leak... If it is it's such a shame a...

Re: Weld or fill?
I think this is the culprit...
Hand under the dash up to the window and it's dry...
I'll try plugging it up and spray again

Re: Weld or fill?
So I'm investigating... https://i.imgur.com/jCbGmIW.jpg I sprayed the corner of the van and it leaked I initially thought it was the Arial mount... But no.... Then the grill... Then the window... So I caked it in vasaline and sprayed again and it still leaked.... I'm lost. Don't really want to take ...

Re: Weld or fill?
Okay... So I've checked the window and can't see a problem with the seal. There's no water gathered. I'll get a hose out in the morning and see if that penetrates it.... My dash is rusted at the corner there but I thought that would be from condensation run off as there is no rust on the window itse...

Re: Weld or fill?
Thank you for all the brill advice π I know if I remove the rust in going to have a hole in the cab floor... I guess the rest of it will work with a standard back to metal / rust proof / respray. Fibre glass/hammerite might be a good shout over the holes I've looked all over for the leak... spent a ...

Weld or fill?
Hello
Found this under my cab mats...
There's daylight there
There's a lot of water pooling too that I can't trace.
What's the best way to sort? Fill or weld?

Large and small fuel filter sizes, which is right for an Aircooled engine?
Hi,
Replaced the fuel filter on my van, noticed that there are two sizes with the large one being the one I replaced for the smaller type. Doesn't seem to be any difference to the vans performance but wondered if there was a 'right' size based on your engine?
Best
