Hi, I've not really had chance to look yet. The door can be locked from inside and I've found it a nifty work around using the holes in the top of the sliding door and a cable lock

They do need tracing and sorting... It's fine for now (just want to get out camping!) but I'll just replace them in a few weeks!

I've just tied then together... We now have either cold air or hot demisters

Thanks Roger, Seems to be 4 cables though? Two on the hot/cold?

So I caked it in vasaline and sprayed again and it still leaked.... I'm lost. Don't really want to take ...

Wow! Did you do that yourself Lee? I know there's a corner peice available somewhere but it's beyond my capability to weld it...

Okay... So I've checked the window and can't see a problem with the seal. There's no water gathered. I'll get a hose out in the morning and see if that penetrates it.... My dash is rusted at the corner there but I thought that would be from condensation run off as there is no rust on the window itse...

I think it that it'll need looking at at some point...

I've too many things other things to do on the van at the minute

Thank you for all the brill advice 😊 I know if I remove the rust in going to have a hole in the cab floor... I guess the rest of it will work with a standard back to metal / rust proof / respray. Fibre glass/hammerite might be a good shout over the holes I've looked all over for the leak... spent a ...

Hi,

Replaced the fuel filter on my van, noticed that there are two sizes with the large one being the one I replaced for the smaller type. Doesn't seem to be any difference to the vans performance but wondered if there was a 'right' size based on your engine?
