Re: Temperamental Starter Motor
Thanks again for all the replies. After almost 2 weeks of daily use and multiple starts I’ve not had any further issues. On occasions it’s been lazy i.e. a delay after turning the key first thing in the morning but then second start of the day is instant. As recommended I’m going to replace the main...

Re: Temperamental Starter Motor
Thanks for the quick replies.
Tried with the clutch in and cleaned up the battery terminals and earths as previously had a lazy starter. That’s eradicated that issue but still have the issue with the starter not turning the engine at all.

I'll continue to keep an eye o...

Thanks for the replies.
I’ll continue to monitor it for now.
Mr Bean - I’ve got a 1.9 DG with the same warning system.

Stripped Pressure Switch Port
Hi everyone. New here but finding the forum extremely useful! recently purchased an 89 1.9DG. It had a known BOD fault and I’d seen that it had a white “high” oil pressure switch fitted instead of the grey. I changed it out and also planned to change the “low” blue at the same time. Oil pressure had...
