Re: Intermittent starting problem
I know I'm jumping on an old post here but it sounds exactly the same as my fault so I've reserved a new starter motor for europarts, I'm off on my first trip for 4 days on Thursday so I need it here,

I'm now having exactly the same issue on mine, going to get under it after work and check connections, it just took 7 turns to start first 6 were just single click then fired up nicely like usual.

Re: Porsche cup 1’s
So after this conversation and one on a Facebook group where loads of people told me 18's with the right ET wouldn't be a problem, I made a "big" mistake I went and brought some old merc wheels which were 8j 18's 5x112 ET 35, they definitely do need spacers https://i.imgur.com/7MNOltj....

Re: Fridge on Gas
It is comical to read of people that have a fridge that works on 12v or 230v but doesn't on gas then take it out and turn it upside down. They obviously don't know why they are doing it. i'm definetly one of those people mine works on electric but not gas, although i've not taken it out yet!...

Re: Fuel overflow or spill?
Keith, yes that was me! didn't end up much good so they in my shed,
I'll have a look at the tank soon but the screws on the filler cap are really stuck and I obviously don't want to have to drill them,

the filler screw neck screws are still soaking in WD40, I really don't want to wreck them so the job is on hold.
