Hello everybody,
Is the cylinder block for a JX engine (1.6 turbo D) the same than for the non turbo engine ?
I just found out that my cylinder block was poorly repaired, and I probably need to change it. See the pic ... Any opinion if I could fix this ?

Re: coolant issue
Sorry for my late answer... I have been busy with some other jobs in the house..but now I am back on the T3 and decided to go for a new head gasket as I am not sure how good it is right now . I will check the head for cracks as well. I started the job tonight and got puzzled by the poor condition of...

coolant issue
Hello, I did some search on this forum but did not find the exact same issue that I am facing. I have a turbo D / JX engine from 1987, and that has been through a major rebuild. Now the issue is that when the engine is getting hot (after let's say 20 miles / 30 km) the main coolant tank (the one ins...

Re: Club joker seat fabrics
Hello,
Sorry if I am answering so late, I have been moving and put this project on the side. Any idea how many meters would be needed for one seat, the kind with integrated headrest ? Then I would fabrics for 2 seats and also for the cushion above the engine bay....Thanks

Injection pump + LDA
Hello I am about to order a remanufactured injection pump for my 1.6 TD JX but I am a bit confused about the LDA. It seems I don't have an LDA, but when looking at parts supplier they are mentionning LDA and selling them either with the pump or on the side. So do I need this LDA ? or is the LDA inte...

Re: yellow block cylinder ?
Yes, but it could have been new many years ago but never used. Or maybe it's like you say but I wonder why to take such a burden to paint it in yellow and leave everything else standard... However since there no engine number on the block, what could be the option? If taken from another vehicle, why...

yellow block cylinder ?
Hello, When I bought my T3 TD, it came with an engine on the side. The previous owner bought it as a renovated engine but he never really checked it.So, here I am with this complete engine which seems to be in good shape. the block cylinder as a date on it 23 - 1 - 85 but there is no engine number...

Re: wheels?
Hello,
Just received the 16 inches steels from brickwerks and fitted them 205/65.
It has transformed the driving of the van, probably also because my previous 185/80 r14 were so old...
Anyway, super happy about this purchase.

Re: Wheels drum brake issue
Ha ! So simple, thanks a lot.
Maybe I will go for a 5-6mm spacer anyhow on the long run.

Re: air in fuel line
hello To give the final word on this problem that I have been struggling for so long and hopefully that can be helpful to anyone having similar issue. At least I fixed it ! Even though the fuel tank was almost new, though I have no clue how old it was since it was replaced before I purchased the van...

Wheels drum brake issue
Hello
I just put the 16 inches alternative to Mefro from Brickwerks on my T3 2WD.
But the rear wheel can be fitted properly due to the 2 screws holding the drums.
Has anybody faced the same issue and how was it sorted out ? Brickwerks does not mention this issue...

Re: air in fuel line
yes, I did try this as well, removing the fuel cap. No improvement. I bow air as well from the outlet in case something was blocking, put it did not hep.
Well, let's get the tank removed and check it. Whatever I found, I will post it. It got on my nerves

Re: air in fuel line
The extra tank was put after the fuel filter, between the fuel filter and the regular tank, so that's why the fuel filter is not the root cause for this problem. We tried as well to disconnect the Eberspraecher (sorry not sure about the spelling... I mean the aux heater), and it was also rules out....
