Re: 3.9kg Propane Bottle Shortage

They have not completely stopped supply , they have stopped replacing worn out and dangerous cylinders , so supply will be “awkward” but not impossible https://www.calor.co.uk/news-and-views/update-to-cylinder-range Hi Steve I tried 10 Calor suppliers in my area and none had any stock, nor were the...

3.9kg Propane Bottle Shortage

Hi Guys Just emptied my 3.9 kg Calor bottle only to find that Calor have stopped supplying or exchanging these (since Feb this year). Suppliers are using up existing stock, but in my area they've all gone. I've managed to buy a Flogas 3.9 kg bottle, but it seems that I was lucky because these are al...

Condensation - dealing with it.

Hi Guys It's that time of year when you wake up to the windows running with condensation. :( Windscreen is the worst followed by the rear window and then the sides. Wiping them down results in buckets of water! My neighbour, in a T4 had an external thermal cover on their windscreen which worked a tr...

Re: Looking for mechanic in Midlands /SW

I've happily used Carl at Central Valley Restoration, Unit 2 Burnt Thorns, Kilsby lane, Rugby CV21 4PN. Tel 07867 541059. Full Service and detailed inspection last April. Mine is a DJ Petrol, but I don't see why they shouldn't do a good job on a diesel. Also Ross at Old Town Restoration, Bishops Itc...

Awning Attachment Problem

Hi Guys I have a T25 Holdsworth Villa 3 Pop top. Until recently I had a Cube awning which attached to the gutter by metal tube and clamps. I now have a Turismo S awning which is connected by 3 Figure of 8  75cm long plastic connector strips which I understand from the Awning FAQ should fit onto the ...

Re: IS MY FRESH WATER PUMP A GONER?

Hi, Sorry, I don't login every day. The reference is B08HQ6785R . Put that in Google and it'll show up in an Amazon link. In my system there is NO filter. The non return valve is situated just after the tank outlet. If that's where your 'filter' is, maybe it's not a filter but a faulty non-return va...

Re: IS MY FRESH WATER PUMP A GONER?

Hi Hugh I know that you've now got your pump to work but you said something interesting in your first post. I think you said that you were able to blow down the pipe into the tank. This suggests to me that your non return valve is faulty. The output from your tap should be instant, even after weeks ...

Re: T25 pop top

thanks so much. I have only just seen this......do I really need a ladder? Could my daughter aged 24 just stand on the worktop and get up there??? I was wondering if anyone has bought a drive away Vango awning priced £285? It's fairly small and has poles rather than blow up but I saw it at a festiv...

Re: Can anybody help explain what's going on with my 'fresh' water tank system?

Hi. I have a 1990 Holdsworth Villa 3 Conversion. Your tank looks the same as mine. Where you've got a disc in the side, I've got a plastic drain tap moulded onto the tank - very useful for flushing the tank and needed at the end of the season to drain the tank. I suspect you used to have one! :( Th...

Re: Fitting door seals.

Hi Jonnyb My boot now only closes on the first latch. Hoping over time the seal compresses a little. I've now fitted this seal but with a soft tubular joiner. Tailgate closes nicely on both latches. Suggest you experiment removing the hard joiner on yours. Front Doors. I've decided to get the T cli...

Re: Fitting door seals.

Hi Jonnyb Tailgate. My issue is with the joiner. The seal tube has to compress when you close the tailgate. I don't see how it will compress with that solid looking joiner, which is what has been supplied to me. Front Doors. A couple of the posts have mentioned T clips. The old seals were not secure...

Re: Fitting door seals.

I’ve just done these 2 jobs. Stupidly bought cab door seals from JK and they are just too big. No chances the doors are closing. I removed the clevis pin from the check strap and having speakers fitted next week so no wire to worry about. The boot seal was a ball ache. I’ll get pictures that Brickw...

Have you seal T clips too?
Are these really necesary? The old seals had no clips.
