Hi Michael,
I'm not the original poster but I could do with measurements for the cooker 'flap' and the wardrobe door if you've got a few minutes spare!
Many thanks,
Ian

Re: Zig cf8 not working replacement or repair
Hi All, Appreciate I'm re-opening an old thread but hopefully someone will pick this up. I'm just re-instating the leisure electrics in my van as what was there was a total dogs dinner and was frankly a bit scary in places! Anyhow, the 'center' of the system is a Zig CF8 which I'm going to keep, l...

Re: Engine cover/lid insulation and sound deadening
I replaced mine with NoiseKiller. The retainers are a bit like a metal coat-hanger which just tuck in. Attached a Blazecut extinguisher with some cable ties at the same time https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20210124/b388a4302a4f5e31c399e73ff9b68858.jpg Bamboo Billy, when you say the retainers are l...

Re: Engine cover/lid insulation and sound deadening
Thanks All, really useful. I might give Mick a call and see if he has any originals if not I'll see what I can find lying around in the tip that is my garage! Bamboo Billy, seriously considering a Blazecut too - which length is that one you've installed? 2m or 3m?. Read too many horror stories ab...

Re: Engine cover/lid insulation and sound deadening
Thanks Tony, I don't have anything at all at the moment so sagging is not an issue! Will try adhesive as a last resort but would prefer the original solution (or something like it) if possible.
Cheers,
Ian

Re: Engine cover/lid insulation and sound deadening
Appreciate I'm opening up an old thread but hopefully someone will pick this up. When I got my bus the sound deadening stuff in/on the engine hatch/ lid was long gone so the options posted here look good. One problem is that, along with the insulation it looks like the wire retainers were also chu...

Re: Sliding door lock
Thanks for the replies all, I decided not to risk the 'b' part and that sounds like it was the right decision. The rubber washer bodge sounds promising though - I'll give that a go at least until I can source a replacement with the same part number.

Ian

Sliding door lock
Hi All, I need a new sliding door lock for my T25 as the inside locking button just slips down as soon as the door is shut effectively locking everyone in the back in whether they like it or not. Not too happy with the safety aspect of this in the event of needing to get out quickly... Anyhow, I'm ...

Re: Devon Moonraker side elevating roof struts
Hi Pete/ Da Dan,
Yes, as far as I know 'double top' is the standard Devon side elevating roof. I'll give SGS a ring and see what they say about refilling/ buying a new one.
Cheers,
Ian

Thanks Pete, saw those images in the original thread. Just to confirm, those struts were actually bought from SGS right?

Thanks both, looks like I will have a chat with SGS but supply them with the details from Pete's original thread so you're both right!

Devon Moonraker side elevating roof struts
Hi All, I have a 1980 T25 Devon Moonraker with the side elevating 'Double Top' roof and my roof struts are a bit 'lazy' so I'm thinking of replacing them. Just Kampers sells replacement units at a reasonable price which are advertised as being for the T25 Moonraker side elevating roof, but they're ...
