Thanks Max one side is like the video but the springs in the kit are the same so on the other side it can only fit the other way around..

Black solid took the drum off eventually and found that the cylinder fully extended out but also noticed that the spring highlighted in the picture is that the wrong way round and will it cause a problem being that way round, ...

I’m having problems with my rear brake drum driver-side it’s been binding and squeaking. The van has been off the road now for 18 months because I’ve been doing some welding and I need to try and sort this problem out so I can put it back on the ground and move it all the brake internals were done ...

Hi dose your engine cover have a added bump to accommodate the fuel pump as I have the same pump on a 1z engine but my cover does 
also my auxiliary pump has never come on but dose run if hot wired.

Take the barrels out and grease the pins from the outside of the barrel put the key in and out to get it work its way in and go for a water proof silicone grease :ok

 Try some heat  :ok
 worst case cut the bolt head of remove the other bolts then tap the alloy hanger working it of the cut bolt then remove the offending bolt.

Hi it’s on there where you put the circle in orange I can see a 30, try a Stanley blade use it like a scraper keep the blade flat on the flat part of the engine block and gently slide it you should then be able to see engine number.
PS please we’re 🧤 as the blades are very sharp

I got mine from a Mercedes dealer cost was about £6 each I then got some Allen key bolts. To order the parts from Mercedes you will need a registration number of a 1980s, Mercedes, SL, I just looked on eBay for an 80s, Mercedes SL and wrote down the registration number. I had the same problem fuel leaking from the throttle spindle on the pump only when running as under pressure then. 
I sent mine for a rebuild cost was 350 plus postage give him a call or email he’ll sort it for you Image

have you tried the garage that next to the jolly farmer pub in weybridge
