Re: T25 Accelerator pedal lever/bolt.
Looks about right. Not sure how the ball end of the new cable goes through the hole but I'll order it and go from there. Cheers!

Be great if you did! It's in the garage at the minute and the mechanic is on my case! Let me know if you find one please, cheers Satch.

T25 Accelerator pedal lever/bolt.
Hi Guys , I have a 1.9DG WATER COOLED RHD T25 in need of a threaded part that fits onto the accelerator pedal lever. The accelerator cable fits through the hole as I understand. I can find plenty of levers online but nothing to thread the cable through. Please see pics. https://i.imgur.com/BRBtM9C.j...

Re: Early to late VW t25 exhaust mounting kit.
I can supply you with the later aluminium engine mount which has the exhaust mounts on, 025 199 221 A the earlier version is 070 199 221 A which doesn't have bosses for the exhaust which was just hung on the engine exhaust studs, with additional support struts from the block in some cases but the e...

Re: Early to late VW t25 exhaust mounting kit.
Obviously I've got the top and bottom straps that wrap around the silencer, just waiting on the brackets to fit them on to. Hard to see where they'll end up fitting though? They look like this...

Re: Early to late VW t25 exhaust mounting kit.
I've made the assumption it has the original engine, 85000 on the clock. Van is tidy all round, only had it a year, but I'll stick my head in there tomorrow and have a proper look around and maybe post a picture. I think the van was one of the last early versions, 01/86.

Re: Early to late VW t25 exhaust mounting kit.
Yea that's the system I had fitted. I think the silencer will eventually be bolted onto the heat shield but without the brackets to go onto that we're pretty stuffed. I may get a couple made if this goes on too long. How hard can it be!

Early to late VW t25 exhaust mounting kit.
Hi guys, wondering if anyone has any alternative ideas for fitting the back box on my shiny new stainless exhaust. I've had the exhaust fitted but the mounting brackets for the silencer are somewhere on the other side of the Atlantic apparently and theres no telling when they'll arrive. Its basicall...

Re: Electrical issues.
I forgot to mention that the van has been in the garage having a steel exhaust fitted, so I got him to change the fuse (bullet type) whilst he had it there. He had the wipers working but the fuse popped pretty soon after.

Electrical issues.
Hi, I have a question regarding my 1986 Petrol 1.9 DG Watercooled van. It hasn't moved much in the last year and since re charging a flat battery I've had issues with... Temp light flashing, Oil light not coming on before firing up, Blowers not working, And last but not least the wipers don't work. ...
