Looks like a 32/36 Weber as fitted to many 80's Fords and also a conversion on the 2.0 CU aurcooled motor.
Not 100% sure though.

Easiest option is to bin all the transformers and replace with GU10 240volt bulb holders, simply swap, only 2 wires. (approx £1.50 each from elecrtical trade counters) Then fit GU10 LED bulbs I get them from Home Bargains @ £1.49 -£1.99 each. I have done this at my place of work. Reduce fire risk a...

When I was searching for caliper carriers I came across some VW Golfs with different offset rear discs. The carrier angles back from the bolt mounting holes.

I used mk4 golf calipers. You have to use the flat caliper carrier not the offset ones. Mk3 golf, some mk4 golfs and early A3 & A4 all use the flat caliper carrier.

Hi, just taken measurements, Sleeve length on cables 75mm & sleeve length on rod 60mm. Picture is sleeve on cable before crossmember. I used 15mm copper pipe on cables. Fits inside rubber housing nicely. This has worked faultlessly for the last 4-5 years. There may be another way of doing this (...

Yeah, the other 2 sleeves keep the outer cable just right. It was a bit trial and error when I did my conversion. I can measure what I fitted if helpful.
