Re: T3 Bathroom?
The whole point of the shovel is to dig a hole and bury it. Usually in woods. Not to pick it up!!! Biodegradable, no chemicals. Makes me wonder if anyone here has ever actually done any proper wild camping! I posted the pics for a bit of fun. Regimented parking on a campsite with your hook up and sa...

Re: co2 emissions?
Figures from Autodata are
CO idle speed @ tailpipe Vol % CO 2.0 +/- 0.5
HC idle speed ppm 300
CO2 idle speed Vol % CO2 13-16
O2 idle speed Vol % O2 0.5-2.0
Hope this helps.

Re: 2.0l CU Aircooled exhaust replacement options
I agree with comments on heating. I drove a CU engined panel van for 6 years all year round daily without heating, no fun in winter. Ice on inside of windscreen etc. I find the standard silencer a bit restrictive though. Personal taste I guess.

Re: 2.0l CU Aircooled exhaust replacement options
Hi, I have an Empi single quiet pack manifold for a 2.0 CU motor on my 1984 1.9 DG (early motor). Same manifold flanges. I have coupled this with a stainless silencer taken from an early Honda 900 CBRR Fireblade. Bolts straight on, no modification required. If you try to fit a standard Fireblade box...

Re: Window Winder handles
I have beetle handles on mine. Go straight on but used longer screws/bolts to fit. Same in Covkid link.

Re: Back / Misfiring Issue? 1.9L DG 1984
Had a similar issue with my bus (DG Motor). Sounded like a cannon going off when it backfired. Fine on tick over most of the time. Traced it to a poor connection in multi plug that goes into distributor from ignition amplifier. Pulled the plug out and one wire had snapped inside the plug itself. It w...

Re: Temperature in AAZ
Just a thought. Common fault on AAZ motor is the water pump impeller is plastic and likes to stop spinning. Pump will spin nice and quiet but impeller isnt circulating coolant. Easy fix though. You will find similar pumps on 1.4 Polo and Golf petrol engines of same vintage.

Re: advantage of reclassifying minibus to camper ??
Had my bus 11 years, 1984 1.9 DG Caravelle C, on log book as a microbus. I did look at changing to camper but i found most companies wanted a gas safety certificate if you have a fixed cooker. I dont have one as i use a portable cooker so i can set up kitchen in my awning when required. Just renewed...

Have had a mini filter on my 1.9 DG for the last 10 years. Never had an issue at MOT time. (including engine inspection by examiner) 25mm crankcase breather filter. £4.99 on Ebay. Item number 281560776119.
