We finally got round to doing the push road tubes on 2 engines as a team effort and it went very well, Mine leaked but then they stopped after a twiddle about.

Cambelt T25 1.6TD

Can anyone recommend where to get my cam belt done on a T25 1.6 TD jx , I am in Wolverhampton looking for someone who has experience and can set the pump lift correctly, i have asked a local garage but they seem to just do modern tat... :roll:

Well as time is a factor we have gone up the route of ordering from ebay USA and they work out at just under £70 a set, I hope we have no issues.

I still have not found anywhere with the AC1094109A scat tubes in stock, they all seem to be saying no stock even if it says in stock on the web site...

I think scat ones will be the answer then, i hope they come back in stock quickly... and i don't have any Vaseline knocking around so i will use the industrial sex lube i have. :lol: :lol:

My panel van has a leaky push rod tubes or two, I have seen the telescopic pushrod tubes talked about in older threads and just wanted to ask what brands i should go for and a good price would help if anyone knows where they might be on offer, I dont fancy taking heads off or the engine out at the m...

T25 JX TD smokey engine

I am about to tackle the smokey engine on my T25 it has the 1.6 TD engine which is a bit smokey, I have seen the Thread on Brickwerks "the definitive smokey jx", I have made 3 videos and put them on Youtube so you can see now and hopefully as i cure it i will post an after video, This week...

The gear selection on my H reg 1.6 JX TD is less than predictable, Is it time for new rubbers to be fitted and any where i should be looking to order from?

I have done a search looking for the post n the JX 1600 TD engine smoke, It was a guide or step by step method on how to reduce smoke and included setting the pump timing, It may also have been a link to another site forum about it, does this ring a bell with anyone :?:

On my 1.6TD i have never seen the gauge go much past the white bit, I did wonder if it worked at one point.

I think this may be useful as we plan to sort out the sloppy gear selection in the Micro bus this week, I will probably need to order parts but as ever i have not accounted for the bank holiday :oops:

It was a lot better than expected, It was wound over to get the oil pressure up and only started after in short runs, Quite happy to see no smoke or hear any bad noises the owner was quite happy to know it runs.
