Re: Fitting late stainless steel exhaust to early 1.9 WBX van

Thanks for the image, this has helped hugely. If I was the exchange the engine support for a later one, will this be a straight swap or will I need to do any modifications as I know there are some minor differences between the early and late models across various aspects or the van. I may be interes...

Fitting late stainless steel exhaust to early 1.9 WBX van

I have an 1984 1.9 WBX van that requires a new exhaust system. I have an off the shelf exhaust kit that is designed for an 1985 and up I purchased the fitting kit from JK to be able to mount the late stainless steel exhaust to an early model. Spongie brakes

Morning all

My brake pedal has suddenly gone soft on first press, having to pump up pressure to get brakes to work (Not ideal).
I am not seeing any fluid leaking, reservoir level is stable and when the pedal is pumped the pressure hold.
where would be a good place to start the investigation?

cheers

Weirdly when you use the washer the wipers work 3 times then parks but when i pull the stalk down, nothing happens. Tried to access...

1.9 petrol WBX fuel lines

After seeing several fuel related fires on social media I am thinking of upgrading my fuel lines to copper front to back. Is there anything “off the shelf” or will I have to piece it together myself, if so what is the best size pipe bore to ensure smooth running. Currently don’t have an electric fue...
