Re: Scottish gathering.

The forestry idea wasn't given the go ahead by the commission. Something to do with harvesting works in the area.

So it's on to the backup plan.
A cruise around the three lochs route followed by BBQ and camping at Doms yurt on Saturday night.
Fingers crossed for some nice weather. :ok

Is that a slide in second row of seats, and a corner setting arrangement. Nice to see something different.

it sold for 4,500 pounds on ebay last week. So that seems to tie up with expectations.

Re: RHD syncro camper

Here is another example of a RHD :D So they are out their, just need to find the one that's right for your needs. The advantage of having different coach builders producing vans, is that there are different style of interiors and roofs to choose from, so you can find the one that best suites your ne...

Re: RHD syncro camper

Perhaps what I meant was "All those Syncro campers you see - did they start out like that, or were they converted?" There were plenty of motorhome buildiers back in the 80's and 90's turning out RHD T3 transporters campers. These would have left the factory as a panel van or bus, gone str...

Re: Who's selling the Syncro camper on ebay?

Nice looking motor Sitting at £6600 with 16hrs to go. In the photo of the overhead locker, why does the top of the locker not a line with the headliner? Wondered if this was related to the flater roof which the westy uses. :?: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-T25-Syncro-Westfalia-Camper-4x4-with-Power-S...

Re: Convert 16 inch syncro to RHD

Nope but busman has a rather ropey looking photo of one up for sale on his site. I hear tell that it's 14.000 ( euro or pound I'm not sure) and its the 'one from Ireland ' Don't have a NATO on the back tho :) I've tried to get a bit more information from Mike but he is very cute about it. 1994 (?),...

Re: AAZ, Oil pipe from Filter to Turbo

Thanks for the advice guys.
I've ordered the JX part from Baxter.

Now to try and get the old one off. Tried plus gas on it but no release yet. Reluctant to try and heat it as the area is drenched in oil. Could make for a nice bonfire. Lol.

Syncro exhaust pipe

Quick question guys.
On a AAZ conversion, is the exhaust pipe from the turbo to the silencer, a Sycnro specific part.
I seem to recall the exhaust on a Syncro sits highter than on a 2wd, could be wrong.
thanks
Alastair.

AAZ, Oil pipe from Filter to Turbo

Hi Guys I have an AAZ in the Syncro single cab, conversion was done before I got it so dont know whats been used to make the conversion but its run great for years. Its now leaving a lot of oil. Ive traced this back to a samll (3mm) crack in the small metal oil pipe which feeds the turbo with oil, i...
