when I bought my 16" in Germany it had Yokohama geolander AT tyres on. They were great on mud (light), snow (heavy) and ice (solid). They lasted well and ran quiet on the road.

Are each of these spanner and sockets sizes especially chosen or just a case of they'll do?

Yep with you there. Some people just have too many other things to do while they are meant to be driving. I need a coffee cup holder to put the coffee cup into while I am driving and only really take a drink on long straights or on the motorway.

You know what bigherb, that might just be the answer as I have a couple of spare ones of them.

They will also fold away to avoid being trod on. Brilliant.

I kind of thought that this might be obsolete but when its working its great. When last used it was just a wee bit noisy.

If I cannae refurb then what is the replacement for a petrol engine user and not gas on board.

The best awning by far is the Khyam motordome. I have had two of these one for a van and the other for my Syncro (needed the bigger one with a bit more height) effortless to erect compared to others and offer great space. It must just be my driving style. I thought that I was onto something when I started to measure my car MPG as the journey I take is the same every day. But it must just be me.

I do have to agree with the Bishop in that all given petrol or diesel should be made to the same precise specification.
