Thanks for all your help it's very much appreciated
It makes much more sense now, I'll most likely go with the submersible pump option and wire it up to the leisure battery

I've recently bought a 1980 t25 t3 which I'm working on. It looks like the previous owner has taken the water system out but the sink and tap are there with a pipe outlet that leads to the outside of the bus.
