Re: Interior furniture boards- delivery

I cant remember which section it was in. Someone was recommending a ply supplier in the midlands who's prices seemed very reasonable so I bookmarked it.
I suppose ideally I'd like vohringer type formica coated but it seems a bit too expensive.

Re: Interior furniture boards- delivery

Oi, get back over to SBMCC. Hi oldie but goodie. I bookmarked a post I found on SBMCC regarding a lightweight ply supplier a while ago and now I cant access it. Any idea why this would be? This is the page I've been trying to look at http://sbmcc.co.uk/forum/index.php?showtopic=24319"...

Re: Heater Flaps?

I pretty much figured the same thing. There is a cover on the bottom of the heater held on by six screws which when removed gives good access to these flaps. The flaps seem to act as a non return valve when the fan is on by the air pressure in the heater box closing them. The flaps are a push fit in...

Heater Flaps?

Ive just taken my heater box apart to change the matrix. When I split the box apart I took out the matrix and the steel plate behind it cos it was coated in crud. 2 plastic flaps fell out from inside the heater box behind the steel plate and I cant figure out how they go back in again. Anyone famili...

Re: Gearbox noise?

Just an update. I have now changed the clutch release bearing, spigot bearing and the oil and the noise remains. So the noise must be coming from the gearbox. Is this likely to mean impending catastrophic failure or can I drive it for a while like this? The van has been in storage for 3 years thats ...

Re: van judder

could be a bit of oil leaking onto the flywheel from the rear crank seal. this can cause the clutch to skip sometimes.

Gearbox noise?

The gearbox in my van (5 speed) makes a slight rubbing/bearing noise when idling. The noise stops when i press the clutch pedal. Anyone any idea if this is likely to be the box or the clutch release bearing?

Re: Oil specks on tailgate

Mine did this. Turned out to be leaky turbo seals on the exhaust side. Mine had oil dripping from the joint between the downpipe and backbox as well.
