Thats a shame, I just sold my single cab with a none running 1.6Tdi in. I gave in trying to get my head around puny power, never giving a volvo a second thought.
Any news on the Shrops Doka, all the snow is making me restless.

Re: Syncro 2.1 Doka Wanted
Has the Volvo engined DOKA in Shropshire sold.
I would like a look over it if its still for sale.
Any photos?
Whats the history of Volvo engined Syncos- were they special to Sweden or could any country get one?

What is the most straight forward engine swap?
Considering both petrol an diesel options, I was wondering what were the most straight forward of all the many engine conversions available with a T25? Are there any simple 'bolt in options'? I was intrigued to see on CJ's stand at vanfest a Syncro fire vehicle fitted with a Volvo 2.3? Thanks in ant...

how much can a T25 legally tow?
Could anyone tell me towing weights of a type 25, although I have a single cab 1.6TD 2wd at the moment (without a towbar), I fantasise about a syncro and keep wondering how usful it could make itself.
Thanks in anticipation

Thank you for your replies. The truck came without a starter, I was rescuing from the ignomy of being a scrapper, it was too nice and solid to let go- I am just a big softee for unwanted old cars! I am based in Hereford if any one has a secondhand one they would sell please let me know. Again thanks...

t25 1600 diesel starter motor
I have just bought 1989 1600 Td single cab which came without a starter motor. Are there any cheap starter motor options available- a golf starter motor or a petrol model one perhaps- a new diesel one is £140+ and I don't want to spend loads of dough before I hear the truck running.
Thanks Jim
