I look online then see if my local people can match or come near the price, they usually can and I feel happier keeping local services going and people employed.
Also have a theory that once there gone you might just find those internet chappies will have different ideas on prices.

Re: A little heads up on your insurance agreed valuation.
I was with groupama through flux when my 2wd got written off last year when it was parked outside my house, flux were a nightmare, absolute chocolate tea-pot (though could have eaten the tea-pot, so probably not fair). Had to fight the valuation given by own insurers, showed similar vehicles, invoic...

After a bit of research for online prices for tyres only, I have just done a deal with a Euro ATS Branch to supply and fit 5 on new 15" mefros I supplied for £117 a lump, balancing, vat the lot.

Re: Red flashing light on temperature guage
Not a fix but might give you peace of mind. Water light flashed intermitently on my now deceased van. Have had to put instrument cluster from it in my imported van to get it MOT'd and UK street legal, it's still flashing where as the KPH one the cluster is a temp replacement one for didn't, just dow...

Re: Thinking of buying a Syncro....
If your not really looking to off road and bash it around a 2wd should be sufficient, if you want to add maybe a bit of extra grip for your drive you could always chat to a throughly approachable bloke named Aidan Talbot about getting a diff lock on the 2wd box.
Re: CV joints

Re: CV joints
Thanks for that Paddy and yes the latex gloves, I have a pile of discarded ones already, they don't make em like they used to, or then again perhaps I used to be just a little bit less clumsy. Also a thanks to Aidan who has been answering my phone calls this week and given great advice, top bloke, b...
