Hi,

Does anyone know the part number (or spec) for the mounting bolts where the engine support arm bolts to the chassis?
Can't seem to find them anywhere.

20mm difference. That’s about the size of the filler piece, so it looks like that’s what they’ve done.

I’ll try and find an early sized window. Failing that, I’ll have to make improvements to what they’ve done. It’s a bit of a mess.

Released the crankcase bolts.
Pump came out no problem.

Back again with another problem... This one is with removing the oil pump from the crankcase on an Aircooled 2.0ltr CU engine. (engine is removed) So, I've removed the four nuts and I've been levering against the two tabs at the same time as instructed in the Haynes manual, but it won't move. How mu...

Everything else is being removed from the case. I was going to remove this too before steam cleaning. Plus, the wire has snapped off by the plastic part sticking out of the case. I was going to repair it.

So does it just push out?
Fully stripping the case of all components and the wire has snapped.

Hoping this is a simple one...

Has anyone removed the TDC electrical sensor from the crankcase on an Aircooled 2ltr CU engine before?
Case is stripped. I know it has to be removed out towards where the flywheel was, but it won't budge.
I don't want to force it.

When I removed the valves and cleaned the head I noticed that there wasn't any seals. I assumed that there should be some and they were just another corner that had been cut during the life of the van.
