hi all i have a 1.6d '85. starter sounded a bit sluggish last couple of starts put it down to the battery being a bit low. ive had it up on the ramps to fix a water leak(*^%&%^%$*** thing ended up taking diesel tank out etc) gone to start it to check and now starter seems to have given up **&...

not enough room theres 4 pipes, 2 metal and 2 rubber running thru the trough on top of the diesel tank dude. if i could i would. think im going to have to resort to taking the tank out. ho hum

that very helpful. i might have to give it a go as still havent managed to get the water pipes out without removing it yet.

ive pulled the 2 rubber ones out of the way.
do you need to take both out together?? ive got the shorter one disconnected and have tried to pull it thru but cant get it very far.

Hi all can anyone give me a pointer re removing the diesel tank from my t25. i have a leak that i cant get to in the water pipes above the tank. :( I can see a jubilee clip on the filler end of the filler neck, how does the other end come off of the tank? does it just pull off? i am aware of the pip...
