225/75/16

I know the tyres are big! Anyone ever tried these. Hoping to gear the TDi a little, then lower by 45mm. Wheels are off a Merc. ML tyre size 225/75/16.

Or will this foul the arches or stop me from lowering?

Help appreciated..

Right then... I am now about 3000 miles in, with our TDi conversion. The vans cracking, and pulls like a steam train. Even though the 1.6td box is still in, the van cruises nicely at 115kmh. My budget was a grand and TBH it went to about £1400. The engine is a 72k TDI 90bhp with FSH and as sweet as ...

Limo Black tint - good or not?

Hi, We are considering tinting the windows (all except screen passenger and driver windows) with limo black. Main reasons a)privacy b)shade c)give the van a bit of a look. Only concerns are Will it be too hot in summer or will the shade actually make it cooler? Will it be too dark inside? Will it de...

Plymouth-Santander?

Anyone got any experience with the crossing from Plymouth to Santander? i.e. the cost.. have priced it and its £800 odd return. Anyone know any sites that do the crossing for something thats a bit easier to swallow?

Cheers guys. By the way, I'm looking at 27 Aug- Sept 11 (ish).

Cheers.
