I know the tyres are big! Anyone ever tried these. Hoping to gear the TDi a little, then lower by 45mm. Wheels are off a Merc. ML tyre size 225/75/16.
Or will this foul the arches or stop me from lowering?

Right then... I am now about 3000 miles in, with our TDi conversion. The vans cracking, and pulls like a steam train. Even though the 1.6td box is still in, the van cruises nicely at 115kmh. Plymouth-Santander?
Anyone got any experience with the crossing from Plymouth to Santander? i.e. the cost.. have priced it and its £800 odd return. Anyone know any sites that do the crossing for something thats a bit easier to swallow?
