If I remember correctly a while ago someone said you could fit an Austin maestro headlight. There was some fiddling. There was a picture on the post and it looked quite good.

changing from diesel to petrol
I'm running a 1.7d and I've had enough of going up motorway hills at around 40mph. I'm thinking of converting over to petrol and putting a subaru engine in. What will I need to change other than just the engine? I had the fuel tank changed last year as the old one had a large rust hole in the top. W...

That sounds good to me, I love White Mark. I might be working up in Manchester for 4 weeks, but I don't know the dates of it yet. I'll keep you posted.

Opening rear window
Just remembered, when I was at the big chill a couple of weeks ago I saw a t25 with an openning rear window. It was hinged at the top and opened a the bottom, never saw the owner though so couldn't ask them about it. Anyone seen this before and how would they have done it?

Re: knocking noise from the rear
I kinda hope it's a wheel nut. I changed the shocks and springs last year, surely they would've gone already?

knocking noise from the rear
My van seems to have acquired a knocking noise from the O/S rear whenever I go over speed bumps. It seems to happen when it's under compression, like when it rolls down of the bump. That tire has recently been changed to get through the MOT.
Anybody got any ideas?

Re: Couple of problems
Check the oil pressure sender itself, it could be loose and leaking oil or it could be leaking oil through the top of the switch itself and mucking up the accuracy. Where abouts is that on a 1.7d? Would it just be an unbolt and replace with new one or would I have to drain the oil? Meehaja you've g...
