I have a Recaro on the drivers side, it isn't higher than the original it replaced. I am 6' tall though (you might be shorter). Post a photo of the mounting arrangements, and I will see if they're the same as mine. Saab seats seem to be popular. Have a look in the "Wiki" (the hammer icon a...

I can vouch for Audi Volks in Keynsham 0117 986 8644. Ask for Paul and say Steve with the T25 and A4 sent you.

He sorts out Audis for the main dealers when they can't sort the problems!!!!!

Hello Guz,

Space is the problem storing them when off the van is the problem. The big silver ones look a bit mincing, I thought if I bent the other pair it would look OK, maybe put a pair of those surfboard foam protectors on to make it look cooler.

Cheers,

Roof bar options

Hello, I have two roof racks at the moment, but need a bit of guidance. All I want to carry is a ladder, and I don't want to increase the height of my van too much. Option 1: Keep this one and don't go into any car parks in Bristol (van currently fits under 6'6" restrictions http://www.montblan...

Don't think it went in the Audi 80 either. The 90bhp TDI came out in about 1993 and was fitted to B4 cars. Earlier Series 3 cars had the 1600 turbo diesel, but these were rare.

I am not 100% confident, but am pretty sure about this.

hot tyres!

Hello, 1988 1.6 TD panel van, running standard 14" wheels and 185R14C 8 PR tyres. My tyres are getting hot on journeys. The pressures are correct (39 front, 48 rear), and the tracking is right. Is it because I am driving between Bristol and Trowbridge (25 miles each way) at the minute on hot ro...

I thought they might be something to do with you as you are around that neck of the woods aren't you?

Do they make good campers or are they too high?

Pinzgauers in Bristol

Anybody seen the pair of Pinzgauers (I think, they were just a green blur as I sped past in my 1.6TD panel van) in Horfield, Bristol? Was going to go home past them and take a pic (sad I know).

Gold J Plate Reimo pop top on M4 Saturday

Saw a lovely J plate gold metallic pop top Reimo Syncro T25 going down the M4 on Saturday, near Swindon about 5pm. Was it you?

It got me one more in the "T25 spotting competition" between me and my wife!

Forget the A Team, what you want to do is the "General Lee" from the Dukes of Hazzard! I saw this Mazda van yesterday while driving through Bristol. I had a camera with me, so took a pic. It also said "General Lee" along the roofline!!!! Absolutely brilliant and made me smile on ...

Live on the edge is what I say. Recaro for me, bench seat for my wife and kid!

Discs were probably from GSF. Don't know the brand, I never fitted them.

Cheers,

Steve
