Has a similar intermittent fault on my van, I've bypassed the idle stabilisation box located on the left hand side of the engine bay, and so far the fault hasn't returned.

Torque down waterboxer cylinder head
Hi I'm fitting a new cylinder head to my 2.1 DJ waterboxer this weekend. Somewhere I've read you shouldn't use the click type torque wrench to fit the head, anybody out there used a normal (click type) torque wrench, I can't see how using one of these could cause any problems, any ideas, Cheers Russ...

are the 2.1 and 1.9 cylinder heads interchangable? I notice on JK and GFS sites they have the same part number,
