I think this is the one I got from JK http://shop.justkampers.com/product_info.php/cPath/2_1024_1153/products_id/2750 I bought more grease as well (see wiki). It's a messy job but really satisfying once done. Strip them down (2 on either side of your van!) clean them, check them for wear, replace i...

Carefully slip a greasegun end under the boot and regrease with a suitable grease .... this may cure the problem ... most likely in the short term at any rate. Long term it's new CV joint I bet. No problem BTW  Ian. Thanks Ian. Are CV joints different for automatic vans? Where can I buy them?...

The grease around the balls has gone hard and allows them to knock together we find just pulling the rubber back and squirting a bit of oil usually liquidfys the grease to stop the noise. I c...

Water leaking from thermostat housing
Hi,
My van have just started to leak water from the thermostat housing!!
Not sure why!
Could it be the thermostat itself misbehaving?
Could it be a seal that needs replacing?
Or something else?
My van is a T3 1.9L petrol (DF engine)
The thermostat housing is the old type.
Cheers,
