Fuel pump
Sorry, not had time to check engine yet, but definitely water-cooled and says on reg docs that it is 1915cc. Have spoken both to GSF again - and the our nearest VW camper garage who are excellent and both confirm that only the 'wrong' pump is now produced. VW garage have modified the 'new' pumps bef...

Fuel pump
Bowton Lad - sorry to be pedantic, but were the two pipes in alignment on the fuel pump you purchased as we had no joy with GSF yesterday on this model. Thanks for engine info. too - will investigate.

Fuel pump
Latest update - have just spoken to JustKampers who have said that the picture is not correct and in fact the fule pump they supply is the one we already have ie. with the 2 pipes out of alignment. Apparently this can be modified by bending one of the pipes(!) and using an additional bit of hosing. ...

Fuel pump
We spoke to GSF earlier today and the one they have is the 'wrong' one unfortunately. They described it over the 'phone and it definitely doesn't have the two pipes in alignment. VW themselves said they had stopped production of the type we think we need...

Fuel pump
Thanks for the quick responses. We have looked at the JK link and amazingly it looks right! Our slight concern is that it mentions it requires 'modifictaion to fit' and the code is CT... whereas we have been told to look out for 'CU...'. We are mechanical amateurs - does anyone have any more thought...

T25 Fuel Pump
Having been told we need a new fuel pump for our 1985 T25 Transporter we are having real difficulty finding a new one. All the potential suppliers we have contacted seem to only suggest one that actually won't fit. It seems as if the design we need is no longer manufactured...aaarggh! The problem is...

Rear seat belts
Thanks for all the info. I think it must be a panel van as there are certainly no fixings currently. The bloke who examined it very carefully for us was concerned about having to find something solid to attach the fixings to (through cupboards on one side) and that the wooden rock'n'roll bed had so ...

Rear seat belts
When we bought our N reg T25 we thought it would be quite straightforward to arrange for rear seat belts to be fitted. We've been told, by a trustworthy VW expert, that as there is a wooden rock'n'roll bed we would really need to replace this with a metal one first. Cupboards would then need to be r...
