Ok, i have bought a new roof, and i am picking it up in the week. The wiki thread doesnt work, and i am still none the wiser on what i have to do :? !! I know that i do have to cut a bigger hole in the roof, but was wondering will i be able to keep the bed base that is already there?
PLEASE HELP!!

There is nothing wrong with it at all julie, its just my mrs doesnt like the look of a high top, and i dont want to sell the van so just thought i would swap the roof!! I dont mind swapping if you want to!!

Thank you for the guidance but the thread has been removed from Wiki, there is a guide for a westy roof conversion, but i dont think the same would apply to a side elevating roof like yours, which is the same as im getting! anywhere else i can look???

Ok, i am looking to buy a Devon Pop Top this week to replace my Leisuredrive high top roof. Does anybody know if i will have to cut a bigger hole in the top of the van for the new roof, or will it be fine? A picture from inside a devon conversion would be the best thing for me to look at if anybody ...

Thanks guys, and yes it is a 1.9 petrol engine. Ive had a few people say that there could be too much oil in it today. Is this build up of pressure and release of smoke going to cause any damage to the engine until it rights itself do you think? ive checked the dipstick and the oil mark is mid way b...

I asked the same question over the weekeend and had the same response. Now im on the lookout for a decent recon to start then im going to lpg mine as well. It will take too much time and money to swap to a diesel and the benefits of lpg are much better!!
