I am loving your optimisim that you post what you think has fixed it after you have fixed it but before you have tested it.. of course if I start getting hot start problems again I will turn my nose up at the idle stabilizer unit or timing and try the fuel pump instead.. my moto was for ages always...

was that the one near the tank.as these sometimes get overlooked.if one has been fitted near the carb.they get clogged with sh*te and cause fuelling problems.... and inline filter yeah i replaced the fuel filter next to the tank,that is the only one.there is a non return valve near the carb.confuse...

Hi, try driving/running it without the petrol cap on. This will release the vacuum. This happened on a Nissan van I used to have. If it runs OK drill a small hole in the cap. Anythings worth a try.
