your battery should be reading about 14.5v with the engine running,if its only reading 12v then regulator probably knackered

as above,
take steering cowl off and get some electrical contact cleaning spray give whole area around wiper switch a good spray and you should be alright

put a meter acoss battery terminals with engine off voltage should read about 12.5v,turn engine over and rev to about 2000revs voltage should now read about 14v-14.5v if not voltage regulator probablly gone. if the voltage drops in your battery when the the engine is turned off then its the rectifiy...

take your battery into one of the numerous places that do a free check on them then if its ok take it from there. like euan says the fridge has a rocker switch on the front to the far right and it has a symbol like a car battery for 12v make sure its not switched on to that position.some vans have a...

just a quick point in that the high tops are riveted on at the back on some models and these do tend to let water in over a period of time,which then runs along the inside channel untill it finds a point to come out

you can buy the rubber backed and insulated carpet off e-bay.and make them yourself coz it wont fray.and its one of the few things thats a bargin price left on e-bay .i paid £14 for 2mx2m with free delivery :D
