Under-slung gas install
Hi Guys We're looking to install an under-slung gas tank on our Syncro to free up some cupboard space and we're not sure which system would be best for our application. The obvious choice would be a Westy tank but these are quite old now and I'm not sure about the internal integrity of a unit that's...

Re: Tailgate window seal
One place I wouldn't recommend is JustKampers, we got one from them and it didn't fit. Thinking it was me being incapable I had a window fitter take a look at it and he couldn't get it to fit either. Without going into all the details all I'll say is that their customer service is awful.

Re: Masking tape stuck on
I had the same issue on a vehicle years ago although it wasn't pulling the paint off the tape was just coming off in little bits (cheap tape I think), I just used a hot air gun to warm the glue and it came off fine.

The only DVD I know of is the one mentioned in the wiki. I bought it when we painted our van (actually I think I downloaded it from Ralph)

Re: Brickwerks Mud Flaps
I bought a set from campervan culture a couple of weeks ago. When they arrived I found there was a few brackets for the rears and it wasn't obvious how they fitted. I asked about fitting instructions but they didn't have any but fair play to Jed as he phoned me to talk through the job. I had also fo...

Re: ReUpHolster Wall Carpet and Ceiling trim
We re-upholstered our last van and found the best method for us was to pull off the old carpet then use a wire brush on an angle grinder gently to remove the dry glue then wipe it all down with a solvent based cleaner. The glue we used to fit the new carpet was a high temperature spray on adhesive t...

Re: AMC/KS heads for wbx engines
No, I dont flow test them, but they can be so bad that any amount of smoothing and reshaping must be beneficial. The torque delivery of my engines suggests that I'm doing the right thing ;) Checked the exhaust valve guides and surprise surprise, the 9.0mm reamer wont go down the bore as per usual.....

Re: AMC/KS heads for wbx engines
Do you put these on a flow bench to compare ports and see the difference before and after porting?

I have a Bosch 065 S5 heavy duty battery which is 61Ah and 600 CCA. Used these on a few vehicles over the years. They also come with 5 year warranty.
