hi, i have just returned from three weeks travelin around north spain, it was great, but unfortunately i did come across any vw camper hire, well in fact i only saw 2 other T25!

Hi guys can anyone shed light on a problem im having, what i think is happening is that when in third gear the movement of the engine when i lift off the gas is shunting the gear lever rod enough to knock it out of gear, im sure its not a gearbox fault , perhaps some tired gearbox or engine mounts o...

Cheers for replying and im glad to here there is a notable difference! ive got 1.6D(50bhp) at the moment, and the 1.9D(1y) is 64bhp nearly as much as 1.6TD(67bhp) and as you have said their is no turbo etc to worry about breaking. hi mate, is it a 1.9D non turbo engine you have changed too?
just wanted to know how much of a difference to your power it has made as i cant decide to fit a non turbo (1Y) engine which i already have or go for a turbo motor.

Converting to a 2.5D is a right ball ache! its a very involved conversion and needs one off fabrications of certain parts.

I have a 1.9D (1y) engine which will easily drop into your van, it has just 32.5K genuine milage - 400 quid

Out of my Seat Ibiza, genuine 32.5K, alternator, powersteering pump, gearbox etc all included, 400 quid
