Hello Does anyone know where I can get a blanking plate for an old mechanical style fuel pump. I have replaced mine recently, with an electric one. JK say the pump is discontinued as do GSF !

My fuel pump has gone kaput, so I am going to have to swap to an electric one, How difficult is this ?

Anyone got any hints or tips ?

I have the same van and the same problems, its a 82 Aircooled with webber ICT carbs.

I just let it run for 5 minutes before I pull away or I end up kangerooing down the road.

If you find out what the problem is please let me know !!!!

erm,

I was thniking about putting it under the bed / back seat so about half way through the bus. Where would you recommend ?

Is it man enough to heat the front from there or does the heat disipate before it gets to you ?
